Dear Parents and Guardians,
The month of February was filled with gifts and kindness. In our quest to continue being a kind community we participated in Kindness Appreciation Week and entered our results through personal handprints by every student in the Guinness World Book of Records and received recognition of being designated a KINDNESS CERTIFIED SCHOOL. Our efforts are being added to the efforts of children worldwide in an effort to break the record of how many schools participated and made this a worldwide week of action!
We also celebrated community with a Kindness Celebration, a wonderful Pancake Breakfast sponsored by our SAC and a beautiful Ash Wednesday Celebration led by Father Carlos as we began our Lenten Journey on Wednesday, February 18th.
March will bring with it the hope of spring, longer days, Demonstration of Learning and the anticipation of spring break March 30-April 6 during which we celebrate the blessings of Good Friday and Easter Sunday.
Please be careful on our sidewalks as the ice melts and freezes and we ask you once again to respect the safety of staff and students by not using our school parking lot for dropping of children. We are also reminding parents that for all our safety all doors to our school are locked at all times and it is important to use the front door to access entry once classes have started.
Thank you for staying in touch and your ongoing support of all of us.
